Sure by all means if you can afford it. Too many people I know overextended when they shouldn't have. We would have been over extended at the time. We could probably do it now. And I totally agree with you about overextending.

I see a LOT of young people today biting off WAY more than they can chew in terms of mortgages ....plus they go on trips and buy toys galore....no delayed gratification bones in their bodies.

Knowing roughly what they are making, they are obviously either not saving a single penny in RRSPs or other retirement funds, or for their kids' educations, and/or racking up trips and other luxury items or extras on credit.....dumb.

It actually has two seats. With a turn of a screw, it comes off and is replaced by that chrome plate. I will be waiting until he is well used to this heavier bike before going for a ride or two with him, later in summer.
