Good. Should be fishing in a couple/few weeks. Might take a little longer to go back to work though. I mean, priorities are important to keep. Don't want to do too much all at once.

Don had to climb up a telescoping ladder way up to the very top of our two story house to fox a long piece of vinyl siding that had peeled off in.a windstorm a couple nights ago. Out was thumping and banging against the side of the house all night and I got no sleep at all

He did not feel too comfortable up there, no hands, hammering in siding...I did my part and held the ladder and watched for falling tools.

I should have had him clean the gutters when he was up there!

Dana! Glad to near surgery was a success and you are on the mend!

you'll be fishing in no time! Our brand new Cabellas opened here yesterday, of course Don went at noon to get some lures for opening fishing weekend next week.

Thanks! Some ups and downs but to be expected. I woke up at 3:00 am last night with a neck spazm that could bring down a girraffe. (gerraffe?) I think all the kick ass hospital drugs finally wore off. It's fine this morning. Strange.

I love going to Cabellas and "looking" then I go to the local sporting goods store and pay half of what Cabellas wants. They are proud of thier stuff for sure.

I need to clean my gutters. They have maple trees growing in them. happens every year.

Glad you are feeling better. Yep, when those hospital meds wear off sometimes there is hell to pay! LOL! Or try to be tough and brave like me and after the hospital drugs wore off, (knee replacement) refuse any drugs. Bad mistake! LOL!

I think your recovery will quicken when the fish start biting!

Oh, and by the way I am not a fisherman. But we will be going to Vancouver Island in July and going fishing with friends we met in Playa. They are avid fisherman with their own boat, catch and smoke their own salmon so I am definitely looking forward to it!

We live in a newer area where there aren't any trees with germinating seeds! Yay, no mini trees in the gutters, no need to clean them!!! yay horticulture science and their hybridizing breakthroughs!

Yeah, Don has been to Cabellas stores before - in the US though, this apparently is only the third one in Canada. He says the same, it's fun to look but he buys where the prices are better.

I put the posters up and sent the e-mail out to all staff for our company golf tournament at 7:30 this morning....30 spots out of 60 are full already!!
