Repeat. For at least 6 hours, minumum. (that is when I am along, it is more like 12 with 'the guys'.)

Unless we are catching in which case it is no moving, but he catches and takes mine and his off the hook and when we start going toward the weeds, he makes me steer the stupid trolling motor with my foot and I never get it right. And don't even get me started on loading the trailer. I STILL can't back that sucker up straight or properly, so I steer the boat....easier.

No wonder I hardly every join him on 'fishing weekends'...unless it is HOT. Then I just sit in the boat, fish maybe an hour a day, drink beer, suntan and read.
I fish like that too. (With my buddies.) Freezing cold, soaking wet, miserable fun. But a leisure day with fair weather anglers is the best. Sometimes in those cases I don't even fish. Just bait hooks, untangle birds nests, watch and laugh. The look of excitement and terror on a non-angler's face when they hook a fish is awesome.

With the guys it's "fish on."

With novices it's "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I GOT ONE I GOT ONE!!!!"

Way more fun to watch.

The fishing Gods require a sacrifice of many many hours and usually large amounts of tackle before the are willing to reward

True. An average fish probably costs $50 a pound when it's all added up.

I never say 'eh'!

I think that is more of an east coast thang.

What 'birthday thing I do'?? Mogs!

Ten more minutes until FREEDOM. Going to dinner and drinks at the 'Greek Villa' tonight in our town with some friends- apparently they just re-did the lounge part and it is nice.

Funny thing is the original Greek owners sold it two owners ago and it is not remotely a villa.
