me too! my mom's brother played for them as a catcher but blew out his knee early on. we have pics of him and the team in their uniforms way back in the 30's. Late in life, he went to work for the Cubs! I lived in Houston when the Sox won the World Series. I was cheering for the Sox though!

I would love to beat any colored sock, or an Indian or a Twin or an Oriole.
My point about starting this is that the White Sox have been having a great season and no one seems to care.

Our first job is to beat the Cubbies. 5 games, 2 months; possible but not likely

White Sox lost one last night; Twins are only 1/2 game back.

Sox Vs: Sox tonight! Should be good. But depending on who grabs the remote first I'll be watching either the Crew or the opening ceremonies from Beijing.

Come on Chicagoan's; why does it take a Brewers fan to keep this thread alive? Go get a Chicago style hot dog, dribble pickle juice all over your keyboard and reply.

As of this morning, Sox back up by 1/2. While I'm not a Sox fan, I'm certainlly not going to root for ANY team that plays in the Metrodome (sorry Gophers).
