Lolabella's July 2008 Picture Report

As promised, I am sharing my photos with you from my last trip. I had just an absolute wonderful time on this trip. Organized a bachelorette party, attended the most beautiful wedding, completed my Advanced Certification for diving, ziplined at Hidden Worlds, celebrated a friend's 40th bday party, and above all, met some new friends that I'll cherish forever.

So here you go....

Arrived July 23rd about 2pm. Went to get cash out of the cash machine on 12th and 10th and found Steve (Baked) doing the same thing. He invited me to the Beer Bucket for a beer (turned into 3

) and so my day/night began. Met up with my great friend, Cyndy, who now lives in Playa at Los Mitos for margaritas and dinner. Went back to my place to hang out a bit...I think beer and rum were involved, but at this point, it starts to get hazy. Walked down to the Dirty Martini bar for a bit. And then home.

Thursday morning woke up with the worst hangover ever. Went to El Pirata and slept on the beach. I could not eat or drink anything at all this day. Pulled myself together to go to Bad Boyz. Finally met Jenny (redhairedgirl) and Melanie (Mellidee).

I hope they post their pics. I was too hung over to operate a camera this day. But I did get a photo of Andy and Jen with their new camera!!

Cannot remember what I did after this, but I am sure I was in bed early that night.

Next morning, Stewart picked me up and we headed to the Ferry to catch a ride to Cozumel to do some diving.

Here is Stewart getting us breakfast at the carts.

We walked around Cozumel a bit and decided to dive with Deep Blue.

Here is Stewart at the docks. We waited FOREVER for our gear to arrive. I think he is talking to the his lovely wife, Kelli.

As we waited and waited for our gear to arrive, I took a few photos of the dock and dive boat.

This was my first time diving Cozumel and I have to say I was absolutely blown away! So gorgeous!! Hopefully Stewart will post some of the pics. We dove Palancar Gardens and Tormentos.

It was a pleasure to finally meet you. Hopefully next time we will spend more time together. It was an added bonus to meet Cyndy. I really enjoyed talking with her on the short walk from Mannes to the beer bucket. One would think I wouldn't remember such things after all I drank that day

After the dive, we literally ran to the Ferry to catch the 2pm back to Playa. We had about 2 minutes to spare. I felt really bad for Stewart having to run with all the wet dive gear. But glad we made it!!

Walked down to Zenzi to try and find Larry and A' who arrived that day. Didn't see them, so I texted and found they were hanging out poolside at La Tortuga.

We caught up a bit, swam, and enjoyed some tasty mojitos and then it was back to the hotel to get ready for our Peep Dinner at Carboncitos.

Boy, that Ginger sure is a beautiful lady! And Melliedee's eyes are as blue as yours! When I hung out with her it was dark and I couldn't tell. I'm afraid of the bachelorette party pics that are to come. Remember, don't embarrass me.

Don't worry, I won't embarrass you. As I recall, you had a camera that night too!! Be good to me and I'll be good to you!! LOL!! I think I'm going to make a slideshow of the bachelorette party and link it. Don't want to offend anyone!

What do you mean finally!! The suit worked out okay, but it kept twisting on me.
