I do have a real question, though. From the pics, it appears there are not so many boats tied up on that stretch between Playa Maya and El Faro. Will this reclamation project interfere with their tieing up there? It looks like it won't really interfere with swimming, right?
I can certainly understand why the Porto Real wants to do something about the beach on their end. It was washed away nearly up to their foundation when we visited last Nov/Dec. I hope it works as planned.
