I am sure it was! I am afraid to fly though...I am sure with some Valium I would be okay! Very exciting though...Neat you got to fly too! That is great-not something one does everyday eh?

If anyone is thinking of doing this incredible journey (and you SHOULD), I'd highly recommend looking into booking thru aerosaab. They were fantastic from start to finish - initial contact, booking , and working with all of our little tweaks in itinerary and number of participants.

But of course the best part about booking with them is that you take a 3+ hour drive (each way!) down to a 30-40 minute flight to Isla Holbox. And the flight is an adventure/aerial tour in itself. Much much better than losing 6 hours of your day in a van - and you'd be surprised at the actual cost difference (not that much, considering).

Again had such a blast......Not only on that trip but everyday......For sure would like to do it again next year.....I will just make sure Erica does not do her Mayan dance in the sand before we go......

Now I need to put the yacht video and pics together....I was going to use "Big Pimpin" but would have to bleep out half the song.....You would think one would be able to find the radio edit version......

I hate to fly too - ativan is my friend. But the little planes? For some reason, not a problem. I figure (in my twisted mind) if they are going to have a problem, well, hell - you can just coast to a landing, right?!

Although I did make sure that Sr. Yason and I flew in separate planes...did not want to orphan the children, you know.

Again i was quite surprised.....If you look at the video my mouth is wide open.......And you can get valium no problemo in Playa......and maybe a perc and you will be just fine......Just dont actually fly the plane.....

But you realize If we would have gone down and been stranded for any lenght of time it would have just been guys.......Next time at least give us one of the ladies please........

Hmmm I never thought of that. I bet you could glide right in to a landing..I am okay in helicopters...Good plan on the seperate planes!

I love the staff at Zenzi.......very nice of them to cart the ice to me...and they did this for me at least 3 days. The Bloody Marys were pretty darn good too.

Mikey I love you!! We did the whale shark swim last year and it was one of the best days of my life - such an adventure. Our video didn't work, so all I have photos that don't quite show the majesty of these creatures - or how brave I was!
Your video is brilliant and for a short time I was back in Holbox. We did the trek by van and boat and even though at the time we thought it a bit uncomfortable I would still recommend this experience to everyone.
