Wedding/Honeymoon Trip Report...mostly pics!! - Page 5

Great TR and fabulous wedding pictures!

I also LOVE the pics of the Chilaquiles... they are my favorite.... well besides Arrachera tacos!!

found a few pics of that tequila we had at Manne's on Wednesday night. pour it up Maryann!!

woke up the next morning and had breaky at our hotel.

went down to Zenzi and hung out under the covered area.

after a while, we ordered up some coconut shrimp and fries with wasabi mayo.

decided to go back to La Tortuga and hang out at the pool and sip on pina coladas.

went up to the room and the electricity went out. so we had to get ready with the little sunlight still left. went to Posada Freud to have cocktails and wait for Maryann and Kelly to get back from their tour to Chitzen Itza.

met up with M & K and decided to go to Babe's for dinner.

we had ordered appetizers too, so by the time our main course got there...i was stuffed. saw Vanessa and asked her to join us. thank goodness she was hungry, so i offered her my plate. after that, we ended up going to Mojo Zone to listen to some live music. really cool place that had yummy drinks.

THEN....Amy (gingele) and a whole group of peeps took over Mojo Zone. tons of beers, shots, and some crazy dancing...

we stayed until a little after midnight...it was Amy's 40th birthday officially now. Larry and Vanessa had to dive the next morning.

we were meeting Vanessa and two other peeps to go diving with Paulo. i'm not a diver and this was Larry's first ocean dive after getting Naui certified.

after they left in the boat, i ordered some breakfast at Zenzi. can't remember the name, but it was some kind of toast that had refried beans and melted cheese. surprisingly really good.

found a spot to lay out on the beach and Terry joined me. he was supposed to go diving on the Peep Dive, but didn't have the opportunity to get in another dive before hand since he hasn't dove in a while. Maryann and Kelly came along soon. they were leaving the next day....wah!!! after a while, the boat returned. Larry got a little sick on the first dive, but was able to make the second dive. he had eaten a big breakfast at the hotel while i was getting ready. when we go in Nov, he is going to eat something really light and go diving with Paulo and Vanessa. Maryann and Kelly walked down to Playa Maya and Terry, Vanessa, Larry and i ate at Zenzi.

Larry and i went back to the hotel's pool for a while. another self portrait.

trip is about to wind up.....getting very sad at this point.

Okay, I am officially hungry!!! Not a good time to be on Weight Watchers. Definitely will have to try the food a Zenzi next time.

for dinner, Larry and i wanted to take Vanessa and Anna to Negrasol for all that they did for us before and during our wedding/honeymoon. the food was fabulous.

after dinner, we went to the Beer Bucket where gingele (Amy) was having a birthday party!!! hung out with Maryann and Kelly. they were leaving the next day. wahhhhhh....we really had a great time with you guys. went over to Dirty Martini bar and had some drinks. had to say goodbye and i got tears in my eyes.

the next morning, Vanessa called and we met her at Hot Bakery for breakfast.

after breakfast, Larry and i started packing our stuff and getting very sad. we had organized a Peep Meet at Bad Boys.

Vikki (myhappyplace's) son Josh...

my dear friend Nessie and me.....i miss her so much!!

after Bad Boys, Vikki, Larry and i head over to HC de Monterrey for dinner.

oh my gosh. this food is soooooo good. while we were there, the electricity goes out. we manage to get back to the hotel. kinda romantic as they gave us candles to light for our room!!!

woke up the next day and head our last breakfast for this trip at the hotel. it was ham and cheese quesadillas.

transportation picked us up and took us to the airport. stopped in at Margaritaville for nachos!!!

we look up from our lunch and we see Vanessa. yeah...we get to see her one last time before we leave. said our goodbyes and we were off.

as you can see from my countdown timer, we are returning in November with Larry's daughter. yeah!!! oh...and we're coming back next May too!!!!
