What kind of internship are doing?
There are some really great people who live in Playa. Go to mapchick.com, It's too late to get a map before you go, but they have lots of info on line about where thing are and how to get there. Go by Luna Blue and say 'hi' to Tony and Cheri (owners) and then go to the Beer Bucket or Tequila Barrell most any night of the week to meet some fun people. Afternoons at Capitan Daves on the beach is live music and lots of locals.
Also just about any weekend you'll find people from this board down there and they usually try to get a 'peep meet' together while they're there. Stay posted and check out the forum. I'll be down there with my sister July 27th and I know several others who'll be there this week, the next week.....middle of July.... If you get lonely, we're ALWAYS here and we'll keep you entertained!
