I hate to say it but the Reef Club has been having some serious food issues lately. Lots of sick people, and not just sick...I mean SICK sick. Last story I heard was over 100 people that recently stayed at the RC became ill from some chicken dish (they think), they all had e coli poisioning.
I personally wouldn't feel comfortable booking people here as this is not the first time I have heard this.
You might want to look into their other resort, The Reef Coco Beach, which is just a tad north of Playa. They are not suffering with the same problems.
