Kim, I swear...if I wasn't going to be just getting back from Playa, I'd absolutely consider coming up there to hang in Oct. cause I swear girl, you crack me the he$$ up! I want penny candy, ice cream, lobstah, friend junk!! Looks like an excellent place to people watch too, which is one of my favorite hobbies. I was in P-Town once, I was about 8, 9, 10 or so. There were gay people then too, we knew they acted "different" but we had no idea (it was 35 years ago!) - my mom just said they were "flambuoyant"! I don't think SHE knew what the deal was back then either!

Great TR, Kim!! You had great weather this weekend, didn't you! David and I stayed in Truro a few years back and visited P-Town for an afternoon. One afternoon is about all I can handle of that place...

How'd ya like the Bengal cats? I guess they're a cross between some sort of house cat and Bengal tiger? Becoming very popular I hear. They weren't very social though. They'd let you pet them but could have cared less.

Sadly, there are too many holes in your theories...

Don't mind traveling but DISPISE driving. Being a passenger is better, for me though - not my husband. If you ever had to sit in a car with me for more than 2 hours, you'd understand. So does that drive sound nice? To me...not so bad. For my husband, torture.

Husband will be leaving for Phoenix that week, to attend his nephew's wedding. No more time off from work - not for either of us.

Can not go alone, no one here to watch the kids...and the dog sitter doesn't have enough tolerance or time for them - she barely handles the dogs she boards. Two weeks ago Bailey came home with his butt covered in grout from the tile she was putting up on the walls. Uhhhhhh.........

But IF I could go, I really do think I WOULD.

But David's working nights the week before which means he'll have his son until mid-day on Sunday. And I'm not even sure if David has Columbus Day off from work.

Kim... Maybe some evening the following week (week of the 19th), David and I can meet up with you and Kenny for a bite. We're both taking that week off for vacay. Let me know how Kenny's schedule is lookin'.

I feel your pain with the dogs/kids. Its an ongoing issue for us too. Right now actively searching for someone for Christmas/New Years to watch my Diva dog.

My older son is "forced" to come home from his party dorm to watch his brother and the critters when Kenny and I go away. The little darling just loves that and says he refuses to do it again. I just "informed" him of his upcoming favor to us in October. He was none too happy. So sad, too bad! If ya don't help Momma, Momma won't help you!

I'd love to go for din din with you guys! How's about Fiesta in Somerset? Its not a huge fancy place, but IMHO they do Mexican food right. Or, we could try something else if you want.

Kenny..........well, my fingers are crossed that they won't call him off to the Bahamas for anytime near that weekend we have planned. It's non-refundable. We just never know. There were rumors......there's always rumors.....that they may go around the 15th, but Kenny seems to think with all these hurricanes they'll postpone it. It takes a long time to get the island back functioning after they even get heavy rains. They don't give him much notice, though. Less than a week even. You read my latest TR on Playa, right? In a matter of two days they shipped him off to Florida for work and I ran off to Playa with Zak.

So, if you guys don't mind waiting to plan, we're in!!

We have a wedding on the 25th of October. Maybe we could do Saturday the 18th?

I'll mark you on my calendar with a "?". That place in Somerset sounds GREAT!! Fancy, schmancy.... who needs THAT!! The food and the peeps (and, of course, the frosty cocktails) are what matters! It'll be a nice way to start off my and David's autumn vacay.

And if'n it looks like it'll surely happen that night, we can open it up to any other peeps ("Ranger", i.e. John and Cheryl??) who might want to join us too. Or perhaps some lurkers who might choose to surface and show themselves!
