Just bumping this thread up with another great deal on last minute airfares...on
www.Escapes.ca, to Puerto Vallarta from Calgary June 17th -24th, $140 plus taxes.
The total for two people (airfare only) is $806. Not bad at all!
There are also a couple of one week packages to cheap 2 star non-AI hotels (El Pescador and Torre del Oro) in PV for $404 per person, plus taxes (which are $263). Not bad either.
There may be similar deals from Edmonton and Vancouver, etc. but I wasn't looking at those departure cities.
Edited to add- no deals to Cancun at present- bummer.
There was a $453 plus taxes Air Canada flight, that was all.
