Any insider tips for honeymooning at Secrets Capri?

After MUCH deliberation my new wife and I have decided on Secrets Capri for our Honeymoon. It just seems to offer the best combination of pampering, location and price. We will be flying down from the Bay Area during the second week in December for 10 days.
I'm aware that informing the reservation desk upon booking will earn us a discount at the spa and a few spoofs. Is there any other insider tips I should know for making the most of our honeymoon at Secrets?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Magnus

My girlfriend and I were there in July.

1. Tip the staff. It's not required but their pay is low and they really appreciate it.

2. If you want to eat teppanyaki style at the Japanese restaurant, you'll need a reservation. Book it as soon as you arrive.

3. I found the portions to be a little on the small side, so I ordered 2 main courses with 1 side dish. One night I had the salmon and filet mignon with 1 serving of mashed potatoes.

Have fun.................Mitch

1. Ask about the shuttles. They will take you into town but you have to book early or they will fill up.

2. I agree you should tip, especially the bartender at the pool bar.

3. Over order because portions are small but the the food is great.

4. Ask for the topshelf booze instead of the well.

5. Spend a lot of time at the pool.

This was the best vacation we ever had. Enjoy....
