where to go late night and just be a fool amongst fools?

We've only been once(me and the wifey in February)and accomplished many things/places that we wanted to go to/do.....tha one thing we REALLY never did was too stay up late and get smashed and dance like idiots somewhere......where's the best late night place to go dance like you do when you know you'll never see these people again? If you see someone in a playa bar in Novemeber late at night dancing like a spastic spaz, that will be me..........I'm a maniac.......MANIAC on the floor.

i've always enjoyed dancing at Retro. they play funky music that you can get down and act a fool if ya want!!

It gets a bad rap around here sometimes, but lots of people like Señor Frogs and I confess to having had at least one good time or two there. Definitely a place to hang out with other fools! Oh, and I dunno if there's dancing at Carlos and Charlies too, but you might consider it as well. At least these two places are pretty consistent and reliable... seems a lot of other dance clubs come and go quickly.

senor frogs is definitely filled with fools and lots of fun . . . i think expats give it a bad name cuz its geared toward the tourists, but the band there - la mata which plays good cover classics - is GREAT. and you can get a 3 hr open bar for between $25-30. which i think is a great deal, especially in comparison to b.p. or coco maya! granted, i'm a littled biased, but i just love it there and always act a fool - that's just my nature!

also, about once a month or so they have a ladies night - no men until midnight - and if it still is as it was last month, if you pre-buy your ticket ladies get open bar all night for $10! at the door its $20 - which is a hell of a deal! especially in playa!!! one reason i don't go out much in playa is that i HATE paying $6-7 for a tiny plastic cup of beverage . . . so even if you want to go somewhere else like the b.p., why not enjoy some great live music and some cheap drinks before heading elsewhere . . . that's my suggestion . . .

oh, also - charlie's in playa is more of a restaurant and kinda boring, but if you have the time cruise on over to cozumel during the day and hit that charlies - what a party. its funny cuz its pretty much dead at night, but during the day when there's cruise ships in town - WHAT A FUN PAR-TAY!! what can i say . . . i'm a charlies/frogs girl at heart - i've been addicted since i was 18, and they all know me there, so its like hanging out with my friends!
