THE COFFEE PRESS

My numerous trips to PDC have always left me with plenty of
food-related fond memories.....

I haven't been to PDC or The Coffee Press [coffee-dessert house]
since 1999, but I have recently been in touch with the original owner,
Mary Beth Boston to see if I could on my next trip sit and eat the
wonderful lemon cake that she used to make!

Here is her reply and update for all you COFFEE PRESS fans:

"I am not at the shop anymore, Maria and her husband Sharky have it.

I'm down the street on 5th. I've rented the kitchen at the Tequila Barrel. The name of the restaurant is Seis (6) Salsas. I started with Tex-Mex food, crispy tacos and such and am in the process of honing the menu. I've already started doing hamburgers, chili burgers, a steak once in a while, chicken-fried steak, etc. I figured you can't eat Tex-Mex everyday. Anyway, I've probably told you alot more than you ever wanted to know. Please stop in and say hello when you get to town.

Thanks again,
Mary Beth"
