The Swedes are coming! The Swedes are coming!

Man, we're being overrun by Swedes down here! First Anna, of course, then a wedding planner I met some time ago, then this guy... Then of course you have your barely pseudo-Swedes, like an American hotel manager with a Swedish surname I can think of... 8)

But to put something useful into this post, why not send your info and something about your plans/hopes/dreams to some hotel or restaurant managers and see what happens? I'm sure you'd be able to find lots of contact information for such people on this site.

Incidentally, nice little lexical back formation there:

V to tend (bar) => N bartender => new V to bartend

(to housekeep, to bookmark, etc)

Now you see why some of us who leave my old field occasionally introduce themselves as "recovering linguists."
