Always cloudy in pdc?

Since I've been interested in moving there I've checked out a bunch of pictures, videos, and I occasionally check out the webcams they have in the multimedia section. It always seems to be cloudy, I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the seasons and all, but I remember I went there during summer about 9 years ago and I got the same type of weather. Is it usually sunny and I'm just getting misinformed by random pictures I've seen or is the weather only nice a couple of months out of the year?

I've been there in Feb, April and August and it has ALWAYS been plenty sunny! Sometimes the clouds roll in but they usually move on out just as quickly as they come in, and the shade is a relief from the heat in August!

I would never ever describe the weather there as "cloudy most of the time". In all the time I have spent there, I would say that it is "sunny most of the time". I have been there November, February, March, and June. Of course, I don't live there, so I am sure some of the locals can give a better opinion than I.

It's as likely to be cloudy here all the time, as the sea freezing over

This is our rainy season. As such, it is rainy. Most of the year we have bright HOT sunshine. Really...it's almost always sunny here.

I moved here for the sunshine because the gloom in Ohio was driving me batty. Overall, I haven't been disappointed.

I was there in September just before this whole rain thing started. I had a couple rain days perfect for football watching. If not for those days I really would have peeled like a snake! In March and April when I'm usually in town maybe an or or two in two weeks

It does seem to be cloudier in general there when you compare it to the southernmost Pacific coast side, but not annoyingly so- in fact if it's hot the clouds can be welcome.

But the wind......
