Now we've voted and
still have a minority government. I think it's time put put aside all the petty "if the PC's propose it, we'll vote it down" attitude and get our shit together. Our American friends are in financial trouble and so are we. So for once, can our elected officials just vote for what's best for Canada and not their political party. Please, please, please.

We lost our race here in NS, I think I was on line last night while we were watching the national results at HQ's. We were having a few drinks, well I guess more than a few. I got a ride home at 3am, up at 7am and at HQ's to clean out. No one could get a 1/2ton, so I made the 30km trip 5 times from home to HQ's in my mini cooper. I am now tired, cranky, and back to the real world of real work tomorrow, Yuck!! But I am finally having thanksgiving leftovers. |

![]() I AM sorry, blueberry. Politicking is a thankless job sometimes! ![]() here is a joke to cheer you up.... Dion, Harper and Layton are flying on the Executive Airbus to a gathering in British Columbia when Dion turns to Harper and says, chuckling, 'You know, I could throw a $1000 bill out the window right now and make someone very happy.' Harper shrugs and replies, 'Well, I could throw ten $100 bills out the window and make ten people happy.' Not to be outdone, Layton says, 'Well I could throw a hundred $10 bills out the window and make a hundred people happy.' The pilot rolls his eyes and says to his co-pilot, 'Such arrogant asses back there. I could throw all three of them out the window and make 32 million people happy.' ![]() I heard a rumour that Dion might be stepping down today!! But the Libs are denying it. |

They will have to re-name it. ![]() He is a bit too young and inexperienced yet, IMO.... but if he stays in politics, and applies himself and is smart enough and really wants it, he could be one day.

I do feel pretty good . I actually got a chance to go and vote in Canada on Tuesday. You see there was a representative from Canadas version of Acorn signing up people to vote at a truck stop that I was in at a town called Casablanca.
Anyways when she asked me if I was going to vote. I told her that I'm from the US. She told me that she had the paper work to prove that I'm a Candian citizen. So I said sure I'll go vote. Now I guess my side won a little it more of a majority in Canada ha.
