K, I have officially booked February 17-25, I'm too lazy to go back re-read & pay attention, I see Great Lakes & maestranba are there when we are, who else & is anything important going on like partying

Hey jmac, myself, husband and 3 adult children will be in Playa from Feb. 14th to 26th staying at Club Yebo, hopefully we'll meet up with you and any other peeps that will be there during that time.

I tried getting a room there but alas, full. I have an email into Eclipse, hopefully all the rooms are renovated now or possibly Posada Mariposa. There is a crew from Winnipeg down there starting about the 16th I believe, so the party is on.

This year my wife Denise and I will be down from Feb 16-23rd. Any peep meets that might require an extra couple from CT to help with partying let me know as we will be there by ourselves this year with no other friends to share playa fun. Not sure how these meets come to happen but we both enjoy the hobby of eat drink and be merry.

Sounds Great maybe we will be able to have a discussion about hockey although with you being a Red Wing Fan my lowly Paper Bag Islanders will probably be cramming for the draft while u guys are making another cup run.

Looking forward to meeting you! We're from CT too and will be there with our friends. We'll actually have some CT representation this trip, to compete with all the MINNESOTANS and CANADIANS!!! Where are you staying? We'll set up some meets soon. Keep visiting this forum so you don't miss them!

so many options as to where to stay we settled on the villa sacbe.Hope it works out. My wife enjoyed being in the middle of things. I looked at a place or to on the north end but we stayed at the Luna Encantada last year and loved it so we decided not to stray to far. Plus it will keep us close to the little carts by the bus station so we can catch a taco or torta or two.look forward to meeting up with people in playa as the more the merrier. thanks for responding

Well, this time frame would include the "Welcome Don & Deb" peep meet on Feb 21, I suppose. I have pics of you there last year so I know you know where it is and what time. After that, I seem to recall Bad Boyz, HC de Monterrey Carne, Ah Cacao and then all memory was lost strolling along 5th munching the Awesome Brownies.

Glad you are gonna be there, Jackie!! We only have HC, Casa Mediterraneana and La Pesca to do before you head home... Nice avatar!

I'm not sure which beach chair we will be on but it may be a day for Playa Maya shrimp on the 21st, then Bad Boys, then HC, then Au Cacao (although I'm sure I'll have been there by then at least once or twice) hehehe
We'll figure things out as we go.

I know I did. La Pesca. I had Bacon-wrapped Shrimp. I mean BIG bacon-wrapped shrimp! I forget the official name on the menu. But, so yummy and I was so stuffed. Can't wait to have them again

Imperial Shrimp at La Pesca. Our favorite meal there. Absolutely awesome.
