When it rains, it pours...
So the only good news of the day is CMU beat toledo.
The bad news, my brothers out with a concussion, and doesn't remember any of the game, or being told to get changed at half time, or sitting on the sideline for the rest of the game. As if it were not enough just to be worried about him, my dad just told me that my dog is getting put down on Tuesday. We've had her since she was 8 weeks old, she is now 14

I'm so sorry to hear all of this. (((HUGS))). Not sure why there is always a "storm" once one thing goes wrong in our lives, but it seems to happen that way, doesn't it? Take care. |

Are you going to go the vet on Tuesday? Several years ago I had a German Sheppard I raised from a pup. He was my best friend. A few years ago, it was his time. I debated as to let the vet just take him to the back, or be there with him. As difficult as it was, I went into the back room with him. We laid down on a blanket on the floor and just hung out like had we had so many times before. The vet administered a shot. He didn't even feel it. He just went to sleep one last time. As hard as it was, to get up and walk out without him, I will never regret being there in the end.

No, I am not going. Unfortunately my family is in BC and I am in AB for school. Besides, the vet is coming to the house to put her down, because the vet is concerned that if they take her to the vet and put her down, and she doesn't come back that our other dog (half wolf, half blackshepard) will freak out, that she hasn't come back. If they do it at home then Roscoe can see that Sheba is no longer alive. Also my dad doesn't think he or my stepmom will be up to driving after having her put down. As for my brother. He's apparently seen the trainer, and his roomates are keeping an eye on him. His short term memory is completely gone. He doesn't remember talking to either of my parents after the game, or going to see the trainer and so I guess he is going to see the trainer again in 2 hours, and then him or his roomates are supposed to call my mom and dad, and let us know what is going on. They said he is getting frustrated because he doesn't have his short term memory, although he knows he has a concussion. |
