[quote=ryberg;1872969]Fourth straight month President Obama's numbers have gone up.....

Isn't it supposed to be an inverse correlation, according to your view?.........

Has he passed Carter yet?

A new POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Poll reveals the prolonged nominating battle is taking a toll on the GOP candidates and finds the president’s standing significantly improved from late last year.

President Barack Obama’s approval rating is 53 percent, up 9 percentage points in four months. Matched up against his Republican opponents, he leads Mitt Romney by 10 points (53-43) and Rick Santorum by 11 (53-42). Even against a generic, unnamed Republican untarnished by attacks, Obama is up 5 percentage points. In November, he was tied.

“We’ve not been talking about which would do a better job of running against Obama. We’ve been talking about who is the most or who is the least conservative,” said Republican pollster Ed Goeas of The Tarrance Group, who helped conduct the bipartisan poll. “That is a problem for Republicans.”

A third of Americans believe the country is on the right track — disconcertingly low for a president eight months before an election. Yet that figure is twice the number who believed it in November...

Ah ha. Just like in Iran. The ex Muslim that was giving a conviction of execution, for converting to Christianity. Many times the Iranian Leadership. Will post pone or dangle convictions. Pending the international opinion, for political purposes or to hold out convictions, for political ransom.

President O does the same with thr price of oil. Instead of being cruel with our physical lives. Such as the Iranians are with hot criminal or religious cases. President O will play around with the domestic lives for political purposes. I think that is just as cruel.

Will you please spend the time to find a poll showing the trend of angy Americans on the increase with our current President? I'm sure it's out there but I have some homework to do tonight so I can't spend the time. Thank you, You're the best!!!

According to this the numbers are not rising where they may count the most.

You appear to be making no distinction between 1 recent poll focused on swing states and the compiling of several polls over many months focused on the country.

But knock yourself out.

LOL

Good one for you, Mikey, from StephenB's article, on a subject I recently brought up but that (if I recall correctly) you just dodged. Re President Obama:

Quote:
"Considering the rotten basket of eggs he's got, he's done pretty well," agrees Louis Gonzales, 57, a "jack of all trades" from Denver. He says he and other Hispanics have been offended by the harsh rhetoric used by Republican presidential candidates on immigration issues, including Cain's suggestion that the United States build an electric fence across its Southern border. (Cain later said he was joking.)

"What if we put an electric fence across the Canadian border?" Gonzales asks. "Nobody is talking about that."
