If Santorum wins the primary here, it will be less an indication of his popularity, and more an issue of Romney's unpopularity. I still can't imagine what he was thinking with the title of his Detroit op-ed. The Jeep plant stayed afloat here because of the auto bailout. Every third person you know is somehow impacted by the auto industry around these parts. Blue collar people in the rustbelt, even conservative ones, are not going to warm easily to Romney, imo.

They may have taken a look at Santorum, but then he started talking.

It doesn't seem too many people, including Republicans, warm easily to Romney. He is the best of a bad lot for the GOP.

Japanese researchers have invented a speech-jamming gadget that painlessly forces people into silence.
Kazutaka Kurihara of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, and Koji Tsukada of Ochanomizu University, developed a portable “SpeechJammer” gun that can silence people more than 30 meters away.
The device works by recording its target’s speech then firing their words back at them with a 0.2-second delay, which affects the brain’s cognitive processes and causes speakers to stutter before silencing them completely.

They gave capital to support the Midwest Academy, a leftist training institute steeped in the doctrines of -- you guessed it! -- Saul Alinsky, and whose alumni now dominate the Obama administration and its top political allies inside and out of Congress.

Stanley Kurtz, author of Radical-in-Chief , described the Midwest Academy as a "crypto-socialist organization.” Yet almost no one has heard of Midwest Academy, because the media does not want you to know that the president is a radical's radical whose presidency itself is a love song to a socialist "community organizer."

The reason Newt Gingrich surged in the Republican primary contest in January is that he was attempting to do the press's job by finding out who the current occupant of the White House actually is. Millions also want to know, but the mainstream media is clearly not planning to vet the President anytime soon. Quite the opposite.

For example, Miner tries to turn Obama’s appearance on the Alinsky panel into a plus for the president:

I read his book Rules for Radicals back in the early 70's. It is a good read.

Why is it all the time & money spent to help the poor & disenfrfranchised over the past 40 years has only created more poor & disenfranchised ?
A reasonable person would think this problem would have at least shown some sign of improvement in that amount of time.
Over 12 million out of work or under employed & 40 million on welfare.
Maybe Barack Obama can hire some more of his cronies to help solve the problem.
