Who cares if people complain about the increase in gas prices. Its their money. Unless there is some sort of "Bitching Code Compliance" on this forum that I'm not aware of.

Edit: I suppose those of us who DO own larger vehicles are okay so long as we don't bitch about gas prices, huh. I am okay then.
I don't mind paying high gas prices...although there is a limit. We have lots of oil left, these high prices are annoying because they are gouging us plain and simple.

We pay more up here in Canada....and when I have to pay 70 bucks to fill my mid-size car, that is too much. I drive 2 hours a day to work and back, 200 kilometres....luckily I carpool but I still have to drive 2-3 times a week.

Yeah, it sucks and I wish prices were lower...but I don't wish it enough to risk my life by driving a tin can either.

But I don't blame Obama for the price of gas. Although his administration was certainly short-sighted vetoing the Keystone pipeline. I imagine a lot of people associate that dumb move with him, so that is not in his favour, I bet...I agree with bearcat.
Oh, hey -- fine with me! If you choose to spend your money that way, that's great! That's all part of the same notion of making your decisions and accepting the consequences and so on.

It's the mismatch that I was referring to, where people don't acknowledge their own role in ending up in the situation that they're complaining about, and then charging ahead and complaining about it as if they are somehow getting a raw deal, you know.

I mean it would be like, just for example, complaining about the feds stopping Medicaid funding to the state of Texas, according to Medicaid rules and so forth, while totally ignoring the fact that it was the Texas state legislature who knew that could happen and nevertheless went ahead and created the situation in which those funds were withdrawn.

Yep, that proves my point made in previous discussions with you...having Keystone oil WILL NOT stop the global fluctuations in price due to the fickleness of the global oil markets.

First things first, love your new profile pic. Very sassy.

This thing is projected to be a wash. Gingrich has a lead in the one poll while Romney and Santorum are tied in the other. From a delegate count standpoint, both states award on a proportional share so Romney will probably still pick up more delegates than the other so mathematically he will be okay. However, he needs to close this thing out since the longer it drags on like this, the greater the possibility of a brokered convention.

Stephen Colbert said about Jeff Foxworthy

"If you are a multi millionaire entertainer who endorses a mult millionaire financier you might no longer be a redneck."
