Sit back watch the entertainment. After the dust has cleared. Tell which ever side that wins. I've been in your side all along. Both sides are anti west. Therefore i don't understand why he wants to usr our resources to help eith.
Their attitudes won't change. Last edited by STOGEY; 03-19-2012 at 11:37 PM.. |

First, talk to the Brits, Turks and Greeks about Cyprus. There are five air bases on the island capable of providing a logistics base. If agreed, clear the fields in preparation for the build up of supplies. Second, air defenses on the island are essentially nonexistent so first flights need to to be SAM batteries. Once the bases are secure, start flying in spare parts to keep the transports flying. Make sure the fuel bunkers can be topped off and we have a base to launch a humanitarian relief effort (or a logistics base capable of supporting a sustained air campaign).
That will shave a couple of weeks off the implementation of any action required. Last edited by jeffandbecky; 03-19-2012 at 11:43 PM.. |

The only thing sillier than this is the paranoia evident in the comments section of that link. First one, from user "childofjesus" (I swear I am not making that up!): Quote:

Yes I did. Have you heard some of his comments?
There's a huge difference in freedom of religion and a country being based on religion. I don't want a country based on any religion. Once that chink in the armor occurs...... |

Paul Ryan's budget op-ed in the WSJ:
Paul Ryan: The GOP Budget and America's Future - WSJ.com I have not read the details of the plan yet. Based on what I've heard, I agree with lowering the corporate rate to 25% and cutting all loopholes for high income earners (I'll hold my breath for the cries of class warfare). I have not read the fine print on the reforms to Medicare/Medicaid, which was the problem I had with Ryan's last budget, so we'll see. |
