Didn't even see a link. Just went back and looked at it. Seems pretty positive. I mean unless you consider compromise a negative. (I generally consider it a positive.) The link shows me 8 promises President Obama has kept, 4 compromises and 1 promise broken, out of the most recent ones reviewed (if I counted correctly). Keeping 8 out of 13 and only breaking 1 out of the other 5 seems like a pretty damned good streak to me, especially with such a divided government.

If you were being serious, then reading the link is irrelevant to the point I made, anyway. Many, many incumbents (most if not all) have to explain why they didn't fulfill all their promises and plans in previous term(s), so this again is nothing new to the American political scene.

According to the site Banzoomba linked to, President Obama has kept 15 and compromised on 3 more of what they consider to be his top 25 promises:

Again that seems like a remarkably good record for the current American political scene. Of the other 7, they say he's broken 5 while 1 is stalled and 1 is in the works.

Moreover, some of the promises he's broken — on cap and trade legislation or closing Gitmo or repealing the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy — are things conservatives don't want passed, anyway.

I just can't wait to see just how low and dirty Obama's ads are going to be. He can't run on his achievements..unless he want's to include class warfare, division, and transparency..he's done a great job on those topics.
