He deserved the Presidency as much as he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.

By definition, anyone who wins a historic, landslide election like our President did, deserves the Presidency.

I understand he is not your guy, but don't try to sell that crap.

The only crap that will be sold is his upcoming campaign. Will be interesting to see who buys it.

Again.

See its really simple they tell me to bring my drivers license and my wifes and all our SS and my W2 from my job... They then do all the work ...I answer the questions truthfully, My taxes are done by a professional ...have been for 30 yrs .. They can audit me at any time they like ...I play by the Rules .... I just believe the Rules should be changed.. and YES it would hurt my pocket No more, Mexico Vacations .. But I think it is the best thing and right thing for the Country..

Along with many other cuts in spending and entitlements...

Nope, there is the crap you are marketing about his not deserving to be President. That is - well, I would use the language of Deadwood if it wasn't a family forum

Historic landslide, he won by. You could look it up.

Nope...you have to request it, and Perry asked for more than any other governor.

I think Perry is going to be a formidable candidate, but this is going to be a problem for him with true small government fiscal conservatives. It's not a problem for me. If Texas used the money to improve their economy, good for them. But to put up a phony beef and petition against it the same day you asked the president for more funds than any other state? To claim free market values are the cause of your state's balanced budget when the truth was that a big government bailout did it? That is the definition of hypocrisy.

Politically this will never happen.. But the ones that I think should be means tested and have their SSI cut or reduced for the next 10-15 yrs is the retires starting about now - Baby Boomers.. they were the ones that voted to hire the folks that robbed and spent the money that they put into SS,they elected the people that gave them everything on a platter to get their votes.. they are the ones that had the easy ride for the past 2 decades.. They had the voting block that got us here..Now let them foot a good chuck of the bill to fix it.. No double dippers, No millionaires... this would go a long ways towards fixing SS..

But when you hear about the fix it is always the same, the boomers will vote to put in on the back of the generation behind them... it would start when they are mostly dead and aren't a voting block ..

Ok let the bashing begin..

Have you seen his numbers lately? The direction they are going? You could look it up.

They won't get any better. You think Americans are willing to endure five more years of this?

I don't think Texans are, but they are outliers.

It will come down to two candidates. I think that a majority of electoral college votes will go for our current President over the alternative.

SSI is Supplemental Security Income, but you knew that, right? And you know what that is, right?

I'm thinking given Perry Vs Obama do you really think conservatives would vote for Obama ? Is Perry PERFECT.. No.. Does He beat the heck out of Obama on EVERY Front.. YES... Do I agree with everything about Perry... I'm sure I don't ... But I wouldn't agree 100% with any of them... But anyone of them is better than Obama ..

Again at this point I'm "Hoping for Change" and the Skys right now looks pretty good for whoever the nominee is on the (R) Ticket.. after 4 yrs of 9%+ unemployment the Housing market still in the tank and no signs of life.. .. 17%+ unemployment if you count those no longer looking or able to get unemployment checks... If things are like this or anything close to this economy in 15 months Obama is 1 and done and at this point I seriously doubt much if anything better is going to happen .. I figure things will only get worse.. very possiably a double dip recession because all Obama did was put a expensive bandaid on a infected wound and kicked us to the curb..... .. Which I said was likely coming for a while now .. ..He can whine and blame all He wants .. people will vote for change AGAIN..Obama is a dismal failure and the majority can feel it in their pockets and their communities... 4 more yrs of that possibilty will drive the political center to change drivers again.....IMO

The only danger I see for a (R) candidate at this point is if a unknown (D) challenger jumps in .. That throws a whole new light on things..If not, I feel very confident the next President will be from the (R) side whoever that is ......
