OR you could actually read what I wrote -- specifically where I said even Rasmussen -- and actually consider the notion that I would say that precisely because Rasmussen should hold more weight with you as a conservative and frequent Obama critic.

But ignoring what others actually write and misinterpreting it to suit one's own preconceived notions is all the rage around here, it seems. And cherry-picking the bits you like from the overall body of info available on a topic, to present as if definitive, certainly gives it a run for its money in that category, as well. So not very surprising...

That said, I don't know how you could come up with that idea, really. I mean I did stress in my post that Gallup came up with a significantly higher approval rating, and that, CBS, CNN & Fox all show higher ratings than either Gallup or Rasmussen.

As anyone can see if they click on that link, of the 6 polls in question

CNN shows 51% approval
Fox shows 49
CBS shows 49
Gallup shows 48
Rasmussen shows 43, and
Quinnipiac shows 42

Yep: the RPC breakdown currently (it's been slightly updated with another result or two, it seems, since the original discussion) shows

47.4% approve
46.7% disapprove

Of course that's a messy averaging, just crunching the numbers from different polls as listed there, but it may serve to have some decent ballpark figure on the whole question, I guess.

And look at that: the country's rather evenly divided! Who woulda thunk it!

I would..But,Not liberals in 09' when Obama had about an 80% approval rating thats down 33%

I think it will sink further as the inflation hits from his money printing scheme...
