Of course since Steve responded so quickly, that there wasn't a chance in hell he did more than a cursory glance at the poll. Just a knee jerk reaction that added nothing to the discussion, except to make an ass of himself. Par for the course.
How does that comment not describe yourself, here?

My remarks were in no way dependent on or attached to that poll, which should be obvious even from a cursory glance on your part. You're impossible to please: when I eliminate extraneous text to highlight what I'm referring to, you present baseless claims that I have misrepresented your words; when I leave the extraneous words in to satisfy your difficulties with that, you present complaints based on the false assumption that what I say can only be relevant if it refers to your other, non-highlighted comments.

Along the way, you miss the point that has already been debated here in high-profile fashion multiple times, namely that when conservatives use the term "class warfare," they limit it to attempts to fairly tax the rich and don't apply it to otherwise equivalent class warfare of the right on the middle class. Maybe you aren't bothering to follow the discussion and for that reason, don't recognize the relevance of the remarks?

And to top it all off, you then resort to foul language, name calling, etc.

Par for the course for you?

About 2.5 million young people have received health insurance coverage as a result of health care reform measures that President Barack Obama signed into law last year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Wednesday.

About 2.5 million more people, aged 19 to 25, have health insurance than had it before the law took effect because of a provision that lets young adults remain on their parents' insurance plans through age 26, the agency's National Center for Health Statistics said.

"Moms and dads around the country can breathe a little easier knowing their children are covered," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a statement.

Obama signed the health care reform measure into law in March 2010.
As more provisions of the Affordable Health Care Act come into force, the numbers are going to increase. Somehow this is twisted into a bad thing by opponents of affordable health care for all.

are you saying we
a) Not use the technology for fear of an occassional material failure
b) Stop all use of ISR (Intelligence Surveillence & Reconnaissance) platforms since it could be construed as an act of war
c) go in and blow it up with an air strike or boots on the ground spec ops raid (because that is not nearly as invasive as just an overflight)

I view it as a cost of doing business. Besides, truth be told, the technology is fairly dated at this point. I think it's more of a PR coup and a breach of the cyber warfare piece than it is the hardware piece.
"A stealthy drone, alleged to be a American, unveiled by Iranian officials would be more valuable to U.S. adversaries for its onboard sensors than for its radar-evading capabilities, defense experts said Thursday."

Dated? OK. I guess you are right. Just part of doing business. No other options were out there that we may have used to destroy the drone.

Republicans warn about Bain Capital record

Quote:
“I never thought of what I do for a living as job creation,” Marc Walpow, a managing partner who worked with Romney at Bain, told the Los Angeles Times for a story last month. “The primary goal of private equity is to create wealth for your investors.”

That would fall in line with my cyber warfare point.

But, it's one of the chances we take when we employ advanced weapons.

What "other" options would you suggest? It's already been established we could not "self destruct" the aircraft. So, brute force is the next option. That would most certainly be inflammatory and cause the 4th war.
