GOP Gears Up for 2012

November 2008

1) Huckabee will be traveling Iowa in a bus plastered with his likeness - hawking his new book - followed by a trip to South Carolina

2) Gov. Jindal will be campaigning in Iowa - giving the keynote to the
the Iowa Family Policy Center, a Christian conservative group and touring flood-ravaged Cedar Rapids.

I think the Publicans are going to recruit the sole republican in the state of Connecticut...she happens to be a Diesel Mechanic that has a PHD in quantum physics and is a devout tinfoil hat wearer. A lesbian Jew from Puerto Rico, she runs on a platform of promoting the Vikings to honorary superbowl champion status since they will have participated again without triumphing and anyone that goes 5 times without winning deserves a prize...redistribution of championship rings if you will. She will desolve NAFTA in favor of an all encompassing sole source supply treaty with Lichtenstein.

Her running mate will be John Voit.

Actually our current governor is both Republican and female; and tends toward the moderate side of things.

You neglected to mention that she/he has had a sex change operation, and has adopted 7 racially diverse orphans.

Jim Webb plays a key role in an Obama administration, gets the VP nod in 2012, then runs himself 2016. He's young, tough, smart, was secretary of Navy under Reagan and has bipartisan cred. Plus, he's a vet AND a fiction writer. I dig it.

Romney comes back around in 2012 after some personality overhauls and picks an "historic" VP, hoping that kind of move still has electoral legs. It does.
