There's a place next to Chedraui we've bought tools at and also a place on the ejido side of the highway on Juarez. Wide range of power tools at both. Even saw Dewalt tools at the one on Juarez. Hand tools can be found at one of the many hardware stores on 30th, north of constituentes. There's also a big place at 30th and Juarez (Manzanilla, I think). Sam's club is where we bought our generator, they have a few things of this type. It takes awhile to figure out where to go for things- this store sells this, that one that. Often a little time consuming if you need a number of items but almost everything is available somewhere. One thing we couldn't find was very long drill bits. They seem to go up to about a foot long and that's it. We're bolting our logs together with half inch rod and that made drilling the holes a little tough through two logs. I plan to bring o few of these in 1/2 inch diameter down for this use.
