Grand Bazaar

There will be a Grand Bazaar at the Coffee Cafe (5th ave and 34th st) on Sunday 23rd November.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along and put up a table (75peso) and sell..sell..sell....
This is a charity event and the table proceeds will be going to the shelter this time, if it is a sucess then we will be doing this regularly with the table proceeds going to the other charities here in Playa...Angel Notion..Bomberos..Cruz Roja.
Please help us to make this a huge success.


The time has been comfirmed... 9am start and sellers can arrive earlier to set up.
Business stalls are welcome


Oh importantly Charities will not be charged the table cost

Perfect timing! I was just telling Michael yesterday that we have a ton of books I wanted to sell to donate the money to the shelter...sounds like a great opportunity. Andy, will there be space at the existing tables for me to put the books on, or should I get my own table?

Cool. I am bringing a bunch of CD's that my landlady left here.
Hopefully they will bring in some money too! All for Peanut Pet Shelter

That is fantastic Heather thank you, there should be space on our table but if you want to come along for some fun we can put another table up for you next to ours and of course as its for charity there will be no charge for the table space

Ok so i am getting a teensy bit worried that this might be a bit of a flop
Any locals out there who might be planning to come along and put up a table on the 23rd ?

Andy, I think I misunderstood. Is this part of a larger bazar put on by Coffee Cafe, or is it specifically for the pet shelter? Did they do any advertising, will people know about it? Locals, I mean?

Hi Heather.
Its a bazaar that i have been organising to benefit the shelter and if successful later will benefit the other local charities, Robert at Coffee Cafe has kindly agreed to allow us to do this and the proceeds from this sale will go to the shelter fund.
I am waiting for Robert to get the posters at his request so hopefully soon it will get more advertising but at the moment its word of mouth

Just talked with Jen to clarify that ONLY the 75 peso table charge goes to the Pet Shelter - not the $$$$ you get for the merchandise that you sell. Jen just should not let Andy write this complicated stuff...
