Obama's 60 Minute Interview

Anybody watch it? Interesting? Insightful? I think so. I have my opinions which I will share with others that watched it, or linked to it. (sorry I don't have any link to click to)

It was a great interview. He is at once engaging, entertaining and reassuring. And Michelle's willingness to argue with him a bit is great. The mother-in-law/dog stuff had me laughing out loud.

And you think we shouldn't be shutting down Gitmo?

Good, we missed the 1st scene, so we need to see it again, but it is only $3.00 in MX so no biggie

Did you get that from my post? You libs.

No, I think it's a good thing, I was just surprised that he would come right and say it so bluntly!

I thought it was a good interview. Michelle is very likeable!

I just watched it online. He gives me a lot of confidence -- as he says -- that he will work his hardest. I don't expect miracles. I liked the story about the el cheapo apartment he rented in DC, especially his comment about the Secret Service. Another thrifty soul! Yeah!

Love the dynamic between Michelle and Barack. So sweet and funny.

I do wish they had talked more about "behind the scenes" on Election Day, especially right beofre they appeared at Grant Park. Obama, especially, looked so solemn when he came out ... Michelle looked like she was scanning the crowd for snipers. Not that I could blame them, but I do hope they find the joy in their new positions.

I liked the dog and mother in law comments as well. And his "and that's all you're gonna get from me on that" about cabinet positions, etc.

And I hope that interview was a reminder to all of you guys as to why you need to unbutton your suit jacket when you sit down!

Yes, some disturbing subliminal action going on in those long shots ...
