Heather and Susie Escape to Cozumel

Sometimes an opportunity to get away from real life presents itself at just the right time and this was the perfect case of that. Heather and I both needed a break and I had just the ticket. Even though we didn't have the greatest weather, we had a very relaxing couple of AI days. I had a tough time getting Heather to stop trying to pay for everything (sweetie, it's really ALL included

), but, by the end, she was entirely with the program and I think she could have stayed a couple more days.

Unfortunately, when we were lounging in the hot tub being served grapes and chamomile tea, after having been scrubbed and rubbed and oiled and smoothed and completely undone, our cameras weren't with us... sigh...

So it was the Wyndham Cozumel or what was it called? Looks like it was on a nice beach, not always the case there.

Looks like you two had a great time.

Ain't nothing like a girly getaway especially if there is a spa involved!

Did the food taste as good as it looked? because it looked great!

Yep, you got it! Beach was nice, though we stayed by the pool. It was chilly and windy so right next to the ocean wasn't the best option. We did have a great time and the massages that Heather pushed me into (yeah, she had to twist my arm

, thanks, Heather!) were just the ticket. We got to choose which massage oil we wanted; then she went with the additional facial and I choose the extra body scrub. I'm so silky, I almost slide outa bed!

I am so glad you both had a great time...you BOTH really deserve it and REALLY needed it I think...just like me and my little vacation (where I had my first massage ever!

We spent the day over at that resort last year and had a lot of fun. In which area was your room? We spent some time at the adult only area with the waterslides going down to the pool bar. We thought about maybe staying there a few days during our next trip to Playa...
