Yes, we definitely have our dates mixed up...we'll be missing all the peep meets...but we are kinda locked into these dates due to school vacations and work schedules. I'm just happy to be going somewhere just the two of us! Ummm...don't you think you'll be ready for another getaway by May??? Hmmm?

Hi silvergirl..........our names are Jim & Mary Kay coming for 2 weeks and getting out of Wisconsin. Hate the winter here more every year and looking so forward to Playa again this year. See everyone on the 13th of Feb for our 1st peep meet. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Hi Alisa!

I guess I've been slacking off. I'm sorry......I've just been pretty busy and lots on my mind. Anywho.......the van can hold 14 people and would cost about $14 per person including a 15% tip.........if we fill it with 14 people........otherwise, the cost per person would go up a bit.

Its got to be paid......regardless if someone decides not to go.....weather is inclement.....or for whatever reason......so, I'm thinking the best thing to do is more to play it by ear. Maybe we could plan it out at the peep meet, collect the money that night to be sure people are committed and chose a day and hopefully we can get a van or vans available. The Sunday or Monday you had suggested sounded good to me.
Anybody else have any other ideas? I think I'll pass the torch on collecting the money to whoever wants the job. Any takers?

So, we don't need to book the van in advance? Where do we get the van? I will organize this thing for us.

There was some talk of a Birthday dinner at Carboncitos on Sunday for Connie, Nancy and myself.

Maybe Monday would work better for Tulum. Anyone wanna go?

Monday sounds good to me. Count us in!

Heather can arrange the van and yes......probably a good idea to book it in advance, but getting the money together is the problem. I didn't want to book two vans and then people not show or it rains or whatever.....because the vans still have to be paid for. Not quite sure the best way to handle this. Although the vans are reserved for a number of hours..........ours for the day, so if the weather doesn't cooperate, I suppose we could go someplace else.......that's a thought!
