MOM’S BAR

Events!

I am working on a event schedule and we are starting right away. This Wednesday, December 10th we will start with a TEXAS HOLD' EM POKER TOURNAMENT with the proceeds going towards the PEANUTS PET SHELTER. Buy in is 100 Pesos for 1500 Chip Value. No re-buys. MOM'S Bar will giving out prizes for the first, second and third Player (a bottle of Bacardi or Smirnoff for the winner, 200 Peso bar tab for the second place and third place will get a meal of their choice on a day of there choice. The plan is to have this every Wednesday but with Christmas and New year coming up we might have to change the days.

The tournament will start 7pm sharp and please come earlier so we can organize the tables and maybe even play a second tournament. Once people are eliminated they can play pool and darts for free while they are waiting. For this event I will cook pasta with a rich sauce bolognese and garlic bread. It will be available early.

Happy Hour!

Happy hour will be from 4 to 8 pm daily (except Sundays). Happy hour will include beers for 15 pesos and 2 for 1 house liquor.

Food!

I will be cooking something good every day. Dinner will be available between 6 and 7 pm in the evening. Have some Happy Hour drinks while you are waiting. The full meal deal will cost 70 Pesos. I will also serve half orders for 40 Pesos when you can not resist the good smell of food and you just want to eat a little bit.

Below is the menu for the upcoming weeks. Of course I have to adjust it once in a while to meet your needs but that is it for right now. If you are planning on coming with a big group please give me heads up a couple of days before since I will cook limited amounts otherwise and when it is gone it's gone.

Menu

Monday: Pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole with cheese
Tuesday: Roast Beef with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables
Wednesday: Spaghetti with sauce bolognese and Garlic bread
Thursday: Beef Stew with lots of vegetables and bread
Friday: Chicken Casserole with traditional tomato sauce and penne pasta, garlic bread
Saturday: Pork Stroganoff with white rice and veggies

Games!

I already have brand new tips for my billiard Que's. I would appreciate if someone who knows how to put them on to stop at the bar with the tools necessary to put them on. The plan will be to have pool tournaments on Fridays.

There is also a demand for dart tournaments and Tribunal, Back Gammon and so on. If you like you can organize players that you know and let me know your plans and I can provide the place.

Next week we have a telephone at MOM'S BAR that will be answered during business hours. Business Hours are Monday to Saturday from 4 pm to 10 pm. Happy Hour from 4 pm to 8 pm. After 10 pm we can continue to be open but need to avoid unnecessary noise in order not to disturb our Hotel Guests.
