I always loved the Salt Lick up in Driftwood while I was at UT!

I've since discovered que Mecca in Lockhart and have been known to drive 2 1/2 hours (each way) for lunch at Smitty's or Blacks!

Maybe a treat after OU beats Florida and Texas becomes the de facto national champs?

I drove my entire family up to Austin the day after the '05 National Championship so so I could get our family photos taken in front of the tower lit up with a big "1."

Does that answer your question?

(Of course, I'll never turn down a slice of meat!)
