Nothing to convince you of, just relating personal experience over the last 10 years in the area. You're just a better coconut gatherer than I- always get young, ripe coconuts that are full of water, eh? Take your machete and knock yourself out crackin' open them coconuts!

That's it, you've convinced me. Next week, after the big holiday rush dies down, I'm definitely heading over to Redneck Randy's Ammo Are Us Post Christmas Clearance Sale, to see what I can find in their machete department. I'm hoping they come with an instruction manual on how to open coconuts. Maybe an interactive tutorial disc? Decisions, decisions, decisions...

we used to have a neighbor like that when we lived in town so i'd walk up in their driveway and scream "This ain't Mexico!!!!"......... guess you don't have that luxury though
