Cool why can't I post threads in other forum topics

what can I do? I logged out and logged in--much like pulling the plug on the computer. What should I do

The software that the forum platform is on might be set so that users have to have made a certain number of posts before they can start a thread in the off topic sections. That is often a standard setting on most forums. My guess is that might be the reason.

I heard that you cannot start a new thread in the changarros y mas thread, but if you start a question about food in the general forums, that a mod will move it for you. Is this right

Like Babs says, that's the intention. Assuming we notice it. We do the best we can, but it's rarely instantaneous.

Why not allow new threads to be created in the Changarros y Mas forum? Then they will appear in the correct place instantly and mods don't need to do any extra work. Am I missing something?

I had hoped to write about a new salad place that I had a great meal at, but had the same issue with not being able to start a thread. It would be great to streamline this process so we can better share our info
