Need help... ok so I lied
I know I said I was "outta here", but I have to come back because I need some help. We might (praise be to God) be coming back to Playa this year!!!
![]() ![]() Anyway, we are coming with some friends. I am hoping to avoid the AI thing this time (maybe). I was looking at some of the condos on Heather's website, Caribe Sunrise, and Magic Paradise looks really nice! I'm not sure when we would be coming, but I want to be prepared to wow! my friends! I want them to love Playa like I do. It's funny, we were only there for 5 days last year, but it was enough to hook Steve and I! Can someone comment on these condos and the location. It looks like it is near Mamitas, right? I want to be on a really nice beach, that is important. Thanks for your help as always. Disclaimer: I have no religious or political comments

I knew you would be back, God told me so.
Send Heather an email and let her know "exactly" what you are looking for. I did that 3 years ago and she set me up with a place I have been back to 4 times already. It is great to get someone's opinion that does this for a living. Listening to people's reviews of what they like might not be the best. You have to talk to someone in the know and let "them know" what your criteria is. Hope this helps. God Bless Obama. |

Mercy, he's been staying in a one bedroom. I've just taken over the management of a beachfront two bedroom house in Playacar, so send in your availability request and I'll do my best to find your perfect spot.
Magic Paradise are very nice, and close to the beach. It's a busy area, but lovely. |

Mercy, I would have mentioned but I knew you were travelling in a larger group.
P.S. Good to see you back. Heather, I will have all the info over to you tomorrow. Thanks again. P.S. How was D.C.? Last edited by not a member; 01-22-2009 at 07:04 PM.. Mrs. B and Mum stayed in Magic Paradise for a month last year, and speak quite highly of it. The condo was fine, though they found the pool and garden area somewhat small and disappointing. Most units don't have balconies or patios. On-site folks were attentive and efficient. Very short walk to Mamitas & Kool.

you might want to check my review of the pueblito escondido, it was great at about 2 mins from Mamita's although I hated that beach club and went north instead where after a 1min walk I had an empty stetch of beach which was relaxing

Mrs. B and Mum were staying in one of the interior court yard condos. I believe that there are also Magic Paradise condos that face the road and have roof top gardens as well as balconies. It is a great location. Close to the best beach clubs and 1 block to 5th. See you in Playa Bumber

I can only second the notion of putting the organization of the perfect condo into Heathers hands. I have never heard anyone be unhappy with her work.
Beautiful condos (although I am not sure if they are on Heathers list, but if memory serves me right they are) are also those on the way to Mamitas and Kool- Royal Palms? Nessie? Help? Nessies parents stayed there and Riss stayed there recently as well- and they are beautiful! |

Take a look at Rissask's recent trip report. She stayed at the Royal Palms, (that I believe Heather looked after) and she has a lot of pics of the rooms. Only draw back I think was it could noisy at night if you have a room facing the bar "Fe".

The Royal Palms is located on 26th Street and Mamitas and Kool are only a few blocks away. This is a GREAT area to stay in!! I love this part town!!

Natz Ti Ha might be a good option for you, Mercy. These are very close to the beach, practically on it, near Shangri La Caribe. Beautiful, spacious condos with a huge pool. Most units come with portable beach chairs, too, so you can just plop yourself down where you like without having to pay the prices of beach clubs.
