Seen any good movies lately?

Last night decided to hit the movie complex, wanted to see Gran Torino but got voted out and saw Slumdog Millionaire. I thought it was a very interesting movie that entertained the whole time. Anyone else see it or another must see movie?

I recently bought "Dark Knight" on DVD- and although I have not been a big fan of the batman movies and have never seen one in the theater this one really swept me away....it was great. Wish I had seen it on the big screen.

My husband went to see Gran Torino last night and loved it! Both my sons saw it also and both of them really liked it also.

I did like "Batman Begins" and have wanted to see "Dark Knight". My nephew has the DVD so I might have to borrow it from him and catch up!!

I'm going to see "El curioso caso de Benjamin Button" today...I'm so excited! It's been far too long since I've been to the theater.

You really should. Like I said- I am not even a fan. But this one is ..... wow.
The effects are awesome to start with.
Bale does an amazing batman.
And Ledger- well.......I thought the whole Oscar hype was all about his sad passing but I have to say: truly deserved if he gets it.

I really liked the movie.....but I don't believe that Brads performance is by any means an Oscar winner. His adopted mother in the movie was awesome tho!

Seen the Curious Case.....basically reminded me of Forest Gump in a way. Kinda fell flat.

SlumDog was cool....really liked the kids in this movie and the cinematography is awesome.
I really do not know why the director totally cheeeesed out with the Bollywood ending??? Maybe a joke or tip of the hat but soooo not needed.

The Reader....yaaaaawwwwwwn.

Wall-E well done and entertaining family movie. The portrail of the humans is priceless.

For my money The Wrestler is a movie worth watching.
Great story and acting by all. Brutally honest movie.

Will watch Gran Torino tonight.

Lulu and I watch "Slumdog Millionare" last night. Great movie! I've never heard of it, until Lulu told me about it.

It won all 4 Golden Globes it was nominated for. And it's nominated for 10 Academy Awards.

I highly recommend it!
