Thanksgiving Dinner

Does anyone know what PDC restaurants will be serving Pavo with all the fixin's on the 27th? Love my comida mexicana but sometimes you need to fall back on tradition. I lobbed this question out there earlier in October but there didn't seem to be much information available then. Does anyone have any news.

Regards

Pilgrim food

I checked with Steve at the Playa Maya. The hotel restaurant will probably be full. If their plans fall apart we are the plan “B”. Check here for any last minute updates.

Other suggestions are very welcome.

If there is nothing special going on, Rosa and I will probably end up at El Fogon or Tacos Israel for a nice simple meal to celebrate our pilgrimage to Playa.

Two years ago, I believe DaGabis was serving a Thanksgiving dinner and I think there were several others also advertising a Thanksgiving meal. Of course, in the past the place to go was Ronnies, but I understand Ronnies is no more. I suggest you explore all the restaurants and I am sure you wil find something. Good Luck!

Thanksgiving Dinner

I believe Ajua (spelling?) on Calle 4 between Aves. 5 y 10 serves a traditional American Turkey Day supper ... I am sure that if you are in town for a couple days before the event, more than one restaurant will post a sign boasting their plans for Thanksgiving

As Michael says, I have to defer to a couple of groups staying with us over Thanksgiving. One of them is almost enough to fill our restaurant by themselves, so I can't promise anything at this point. We might work up a dinner late in the game, however, if anyone's interested.
