I can relate, Sue. Same reason why I can't go near the Kitty Adoption Center at the PetsMart when I stock up on cat food. They look so sad in their cages, and I want to bring them all home with me, and I know I can't. I'm usually choking back the tears when I leave that part of the store.....

Happy to Roni.
Mom's is clean, well run, quiet and very inexpensive. Since I don't mind a bit of a walk to the beach, the location really works for me. There are a variety of room sizes and prices. Studio apartments at $700 per month, 1 bedroom apartments at $800 and larger condos, I don't know their price. You can hear people talking in the common areas in the morning and evening, but it's not bothersome. The noise from the bar is not a problem either. I think it's a huge bonus to have Juergens bar right at our doorstep, and it is attracting a lot of interesting people at night. Juergens food smells great, I haven't had a chace to eat any yet. I am going to give it a try tonight. General concensus, I will be staying at Mom's next year. Oh, and we ate at Las Brisas Roni, great food, good prices! |
