That would make sense as I've always heard that running with something in your stomach is best for peak performance, whereas running no an empty stomach is best for maximum fat burning.
Not sure what others have heard/believe. |

I take 2 weeks off and suddenly Erica is the hot chick around here!?!
What gives! LOL! Nice job with the running there, chica! I'll be sure to watch my back with the racing! You'll be out there in no time! JG - Love the pictures and congrats on a great race! So glad that you were able to race after your accident! Had an awesome trip to PDC. Beyond the best trip I've ever had. 11 days, 6 dives, lots of sun, fun, and met tons of new people (including JG's hermano). My running, welllll...I ran one day. That's it! Will be heading back to the gym tonight. Spin class from 530-615. Ugh, it's going to be a drag! ![]() I have a new running partner. Brought her home from Peanut Pet Shelter! She has a year before she'll be a true running partner but she's all legs (unlike her new mommy) so I think she'll be a great runner (again, unliker her new mommy) Can't post a picture b/c I'm on my work PC but there are pictures in the Peanut thread.Peace out my running freak friends! Good to be back! |

I used to have a no mixing of facebook and PI policy, but I have since taken that stick out of my ass. For what it is worth, I think the only lame TR's and those not written! Just post a bunch of pics and give some captions if possible.

As far as the current running, well, those two weeks off gave me enough time to get antsy and get back into the groove again.Looking forward to seeing some pics of your trip! |

So, with the end of this thread coming in 27 days, I think it'd be a good idea to start posting the first draft of our goals for 2010. I only say this, because facebook keeps telling me about an upcoming race series in our area.
I'm really thinking about doing THIS in 2010... Specifically: 10k on 01 January Half Marathon on 06 June Duathlon on 29 Aug Half Marathon on 30 October There are a few other goals/target races that I'm looking at for 2010 as well, but this running series sounds really fun...and has really cool medals I know a few of us have written what we're thinking about doing, but lets get more in writing
