They did have masks and snorkels available at the dive shop at the Reef Club, but I suspect they they are for use on-site only. I may be wrong, though.
BTW, I would go back to the Reef Club tomorrow. I echo James' sentiment that this could happen anywhere. Just a few months ago, several people were made seriously ill from eating contaminated lettuce from O'Charley's here in the good ole' US of A.
Wash you hands a bunch, and you'll likely be fine.

BTW, again, James...I chuckled at your comment about daughter pending. I can relate. You may soon find that having an endless supply of soggy french fries and pizza can be pretty handy.
