I doubt it if you can purchase hotel by itself , most sunwing vacations are air and flight, but from what Ive seen ,, vacation packages are always cheaper from north of 60. 4 stars average between 950 and 1400 in Jan , and 1500 to 2000 in the busy weeks in mar and apr with airfare. Thats canadian funds of course.

We have flown Sunwing twice, they are good.
![]() And yes, transfers are included with the air/hotel packages, but not with charter air-only. We usually book through www.escapes.ca or www.redtag.ca- both have Sunwing vacations. Quote:

I gave them a call and they promptly answered my question. If anybody else is interested in there response, they said:
Hotel only bookings for Cancun/Rivera Maya do not include airport transfers. Although this raises the price, I will probably still end up booking with Sunwing! |

I am on sunwing for the first time next week. So far....I am impressed with their customer service. I upgraded to Elite Plus and I get an extra 24lbs. to bring back in my suitcase.
![]() ![]() I am notorious for NOT packing light. ![]() Plus I always need room for alcohol. ![]() I will let you know how it was when I return.

We use their flights every few months usually through Flightcentre sometimes as cheap as $99 CDN PLUS TAXES to Cancun/Cozumel from Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. It is worth flying out of the different cities to save several hundred dollars...just remember that air travel in Canada is not deregulated so the higher taxes on flights may surprise you!!! Make sure that you know the full price before you book. They sell the seats from the unused AI packages to cover the taxes which the airline has to pay anyway. We have had no problems (knock on wood). The early morning flights even serve champagne and oj (no charge !!!).

You said "vacation packages' are always cheaper from north of 60." So, what did you mean by that? Certainly it is untrue that in general, packages are cheaper in Canada than in the US. They are hardly ever cheaper up here. So you could not have meant that. ![]() And often it is cheaper to book hotel and airfare separately, than to book a package, even including spending money- so you could not have meant that. So what did you mean?
