Karen, this is absolutely right and it is what I do - most of the times. It does not really pay out to always wait for things to do later as you most probably will never do them... I always wanted to go to New York and for years I asked friends whether they would come with me. It was always 'YES!!!' but when I started to organize they suddenly would not have time oe morney or whatever. So one day I decided I wouldn't wait for anyone to join me on my trips any more and went alone. This is what I've been doing for the past 7 years.
