Infant airfare
I always thought that there was no ticketing charge for infants on the lap of a parent, but I have looked at a couple of airlines and they say that for international flights infants do have to purchase a seat/ticket.
Anyone know which airlines, if any, dont charge for infants? |

When I called United to get some prices the lady said it would be $152 for my 5 month old on the lap,but on Travelation it said only $52 for her. Also the price was very cheap for my baby with other airlines on that website so check out Travelation.com and see if you can find some cheap ones.

Infant taxes/fees are set by each individual airline, if the airline is charging "X" amount of dollars then that's what you'll pay. If an internet site isn't quoting you the same price, my guess is you'll be asked to pay it at check in as they don't have the authority to lower the taxes. Two different charges for the same airline doesn't sound right to me.
