Never been abroad

Hello!
I'm a very excited newby - I have never ever been abroad before, not once in 25 years, and finally, in 13 days, I'll be on my way to playa!!

I'm excited for everything, My first time in an airport, first time on a plane, first time on an "airport - hotel transfer" - first time under a sun that blows out more than 18 degree heat at best, my first time holding cash thats not so jolly british, first time on sand thats not, erm, british(!) ... the list is endless, but I'm guessing you've kinda got the picture!
I will be perusing all the holiday logs and snaps and dreaming away my remaining shifts at work away with you guys from now till I'm there making my own memories!
Im flying over with my other half, (ha! I'll be Flying over - get me!!)
who has been to your part of the world no less than 5 times so far and therefore i am sure that I'll be in good hands ...!

Oooh I could rabble on forever about how excited I am but I will stop before you're all bored and rolling your eyes at me!

Have fun.

I flew my parents to Playa last January. It was their first beach experience. They loved it.

You will NOT want to go back to Yorkshire.

Yorkshire is North of London in England.

About 4 hours or so North.

Thank you for all your replies! And yes, Yorkshire is in the Northish of England, its split into north, west and south yorkshire and I am in the North, which is around 4hrs north of London! (Well said Paul!)

The weather here in Bonny Yorkshire is horrid today, and with 8 days to go makes Playa seem even more perfect

Hey, where exactly in Yorkshire are you?

And, I have a GREAT tip for you. Take a jar of Marmite to my mate Jez at Zenzi on the beach (10th Street). He'll fix you up with a beer and give you tons of usefull "local" info. It'll get your holiday off to a good start. And say hi from me.
