After partying all night long,, we finally dragged ourselves home and to bed. We had to get back to Houston the next day, and back to reality, ie work,,,,,

But, our friends had decided to stay through Fat Tuesday, so they took the rest of these pictures

Here's Mr. Big Stuff. He reigns over the Zulu Mardi Gras parade on Fat Tuesday. He's,, kind of, like the King, only better.



This what Canal Street looks like on Mardi Gras Day, with the crowds at the parades.......

After the parades are over, beads are everywhere,,







even in the trees,,,,,

And they always judge how good Mardi Gras was, by the amount of garbage that is left,,,,,, I'd say it was a GREAT Mardi Gras !!!

Thank you so much for posting all of your pictures of mardi gras. I love them all. Gorgeous women, amazing floats, beautiful beads, and lots of trash...it was great looking at your pictures.
