Love the day introductions. I hadn't seen that before and thought it was a nice touch. I didn't read the first paragraph close enough and was wondering what you were doing after day one as you had the other days posted. I'm thinking to myself "wow, some anniversary" then I read it again and.

Thank you everyone for your sweet compliments. It does make it feel worthwile to take the time to organize my notes and pictures to create a report if folks seem to like it. I carried a journal with me thorughout the trip so it's easier to remember the details I would surely have forgotten by now.

I'll try to put up my next installment today. I have to work and then go to my son's baseball game, so it will probably be a lot later. Thanks again for your patience and all your kind words.

Great start Eileen. I know your Anniversary isn't until August but who's going to remember then.............so hope you have a "Happy Anniversary" when it comes. 25 years is a long time but when you are having a good time that 25 years doesn't seem so long.

It breaks my heart to think that there will be some big old Condo in the spot where the Shangri-La is now I've never stayed there but I have had a few of those really good cocktails at happy hour there

That sneaky Kim. I was wondering about her post of the Kalaka. She's been pretty quiet lately.

Great start Eileen!

Congrats on 25 and what a great place to celebrate it. We stayed at the SLC for Joe's 50th and had a terrific time there.

Just walking out your door to your beach chair was such a luxury.

Thank you for your sweet wishes! Yes, 25 years goes by quick when you're going about the business of working and raising a family. I can't even believe it's been 25! I hope you do get to stay at SLC someday. Yes, Kim can be very sneaky. I have to say that I was egging her on the whole time. She must have gotten tired of hearing me say...DO IT KIM, DO IT!

Well, honestly, she didn't commit and buy her ticket until the day before we flew, so I really didn't have much of a chance to blow her secret. That's just the way Kim rolls!

Tony, we were so bummed when we realized that you had left Playa and we hadn't gotten to say goodbye! We had great fun meeting you and hanging with you along the way.
